Ralph H. Parkes passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026.
Ralph was a skilled carpenter and a true jack of all trades. There was hardly a project he couldn’t tackle. His talent, determination, and willingness to lend a helping hand were just a few of the many things that made him so special.
Ralph was also a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast. He found joy in riding, working with his hands, and taking on whatever project came his way. But perhaps one of the things his family will remember most was his sense of humor. Ralph had a laugh that was unmistakably his, and he was often the one to crack a joke or say something funny just when it was needed most.
Ralph is survived by his daughter, Jacqueline Geist; son-in-law, Jared Geist; and his beloved grandchildren, June and Jenson Geist, who brought great joy to his life. He is also survived by his sister, Rosena Cerra; his brother, Robert Parkes and his wife, Sue; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Orrin S. and Evelyn B. Parkes; his brother, Orrin Parkes Jr.; Ray Parkes and his wife Kathy; his sister, Jean and brother-in-law, John Hotsko; and his brother-in-law, Bob Cerra.
Ralph will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.
