Lucy A. Colapietro, affectionately known as Lucia, Lulu, or Lulabelle passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday August 14, 2026 at the age of 92.
She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Teresa Colapietro, sisters and brothers-in-laws Antoinette and Richard McCarty and Josephine and Joseph Amorese. She is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law Vince and Marlene Colapietro and Robert and Dianne Turner. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews to whom she was like a second mother or grandmother.
Lucy was always the life of the party and always had a smile or kind word for all those that she came in contact with. She kept her sense of humor until the very end. She was sassy and entertaining, always keeping her loving aides on their toes Special thanks to her aides Bonnie, Lynne, and Charley for making her last years so comfortable and making it possible for her to stay in the comfort of her own home.
We all have no doubt that there is a happy reunion at the casino or around the kitchen table for a lively game of pinochle.
Funeral services will be private.
