William F. Soliwoda, Sr., 83 of Endicott, NY, passed away after a very brief illness at Mercy House on Thursday June 25, 2026. He was predeceased by his wife, Linda Soliwoda; his brother, Donald Soliwoda; his sister, Mary Case and his son-in-law, Todd Doan. He is survived by 5 children, Terri Shea (Murph), Lorie Soliwoda Truong, Dan Martone, Mike Soliwoda (Abby), Wyll Mui-Soliwoda (Henry): 11 grandchildren, Kassidy Gaska (Matt), Erin Shea (Nate Harendza), Maggie Shea (Stavros Asprou), Aidan Shea (Samantha Havel), Kira Lightfoot (Darren), Ciara Hays (Danny), Allaira Truong, Leaira Truong, Nico Soliwoda-Alway, Joseph Mui-Soliwoda, Mali Mui-Soliwoda; his great-granddaughter, Seylah Lightfoot; his sister-in-law and dear friend, Debra Morello; his lifelong friend, Alice Vincent; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Endicott and its Altar Rosary Society. He was a retired employee of IBM Owego and assisted his wife for many years at All Occasion Cakes. The family would like to thank the staff of UHS Wilson Hospital for their compassionate care and the Angels at Mercy House for the loving care and comfort shown to Bill and his family.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday July 1st from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church 701 W. Main St. Endicott, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM followed by entombment at Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his memory to Mercy House 212 N.
