Antonio Nirchi, 100, of Endicott passed away on Easter Sunday, April 5th, 2026. He was predeceased by his wife Catherine, his parents, Antonio and Elisabetta, and his seven older siblings. He is survived by his two sons Anthony (Jeanine) Nirchi, and John Nirchi, two grandchildren, Nicole Mushalla, and Dave (Natalie) Nirchi, four great grandsons, Luke Mushalla, Rocco, Nicco and Marco Nirchi. Antonio was a lifelong resident of Endicott. He was the first family member to immigrate to America, coming from Pofi, Italy in 1954, and becoming a citizen soon after. He had a passion for gardening and winemaking. The family would like to give special thanks to the Hospice nurses, and the personal caregivers, Marcy, Sam, Jonathan, C.C. and Chris.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, April 10th, at 10 AM. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 300 Odell Ave. Endicott. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at St. Anthony's on Friday from 9:00 AM until Mass time at 10. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Mercy House 212 N McKinley Ave. Endicott, NY 13760.
