Diane Alise

Diane Alise, 85, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on July 3, 2025. 

She is predeceased by her parents, Dominick & Theresa Filocamo,  Brother & Sister in Law,  Nicholas & Carole Filocamo & Brother in Law, John Alise.  She is survived by her loving, devoted husband, Jim; Children, Teresa & Thomas Corino of Endicott, NY, Dr. James Alise & former Daughter in Law, Kristine Strong of Ithaca, NY, John & Mary Alise of LaGrange, Grandchildren, Morgan & Michael Manning of LaGrange, GA, Teralynn & Robert Garbade of Wexford, PA, Josh & Abbye Alise of Kennesaw, GA, Matthew Corino of Stamford, CT, Nicholas Corino of Pittsburgh, PA & Andrew Alise of Ithaca, NY; Great Grandchildren, Merritt & Maddox Manning, Luke & Noah Garbade, Sister in Law, Carolyn Alise; Nieces & Nephews, Donna & Randy Hartz, CaroleAnne & Bill Gifford, Laurie Walker, Lisa & Dan Babcock, Terri & Jeff Buchanan, Joseph & Missy Alise, Laura & Buzz Jeter, Kim & Richard Simms & many great nieces & nephews. Diane was born on March 27, 1940 in Patterson, NJ.  She married her high school sweetheart, Jim Alise, captain of the football team, All State baseball player, United States Marine and the love of her life.  They were married for 66 years and truly devoted to each other…Diane worked for many years teaching Special Education in New Jersey.  After moving to Deposit, New York in 1974 she worked as Receptionist/Secretary at Reed Memorial Hospital, Hancock, NY & Asplundh Mfg., Deposit.  Jim & Diane later moved to LaGrange, GA in 1995 to enjoy 10 years with their Southern family.  There she worked as receptionist at West Georgia Cardiology.  She cherished her co-workers and fell in love with all of her patients.  Diane was a loving Hospice volunteer for the 10 years they lived in LaGrange.  As everyone knows, Diane’s greatest joy was her family.  She loved spending time together, creating a special, loving environment for her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren.  She was so very proud of each of their accomplishments and loved to share their stories with everyone.  She taught us all to cherish and be grateful for every moment God grants us…. Diane was a terrific cook - Italian cuisine being her specialty.  She often prepared and shared meals with elderly or ill shut-ins which gave her much joy.  Her kindness & generosity flowed from her heart.  Diane loved visiting with her neighbors and friends…she never met a stranger that she didn’t talk with! She was a devout Christian, member of St. Joseph’s Church in Endicott for many years and often volunteered wherever needed.  Her faith was unwavering and a beautiful example for everyone who knew her.  It is comforting to know she now enjoys her promised place in Heaven, reunited with her loved ones, peacefully in the arms of Jesus. 

A private family funeral service will be held at Pucedo Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 9 at 12 noon.
