Joseph J. Sarrica, 95 of Endicott, NY, went to be with his Lord on Monday December 15, 2025 at the NYS Veterans Home at Oxford, NY. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Anna (Gados) Sarrica; his step-mother, Maria Rose Sarrica; his brother, Salvatore Sarrica; his sisters, Betty Lou (Edward) O’Connor and Rosalie (Robert) Settino; his brother-in-law, Thomas Sutton. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Rosemary (Ocilka) Sarrica; three children, Deborah DeAngles (Millet), Marybeth McCarville (Michael), Mark J. Sarrica; five grandchildren, Vincent DeAngles, Kristin DeAngles, Timothy McCarville (Kathleen), Kathryn McCarville (Ben Burrows), Christian McCarville (Sarah); his great-granddaughter, Carmella Pastorello; his sister, Mary Sutton, his grandpuppy, Luchia; also several nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, serving from 1949 - 1952, a member of St. Joseph’s Church, Endicott, a charter member of the Union Volunteer Emergency Squad and a retired employee of IBM Endicott with 37 years of service. He was a very very devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.
Funeral services will be held Saturday December 20, 2025 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph’s Church 207 Hayes Ave. Endicott, NY. Entombment will follow in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell. The family will receive friends at St. Joseph’s Church on Saturday from 9:30 AM until time of Mass at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to either Mercy House of the Southern Tier 212 N.
