Susan M. (Salamida) Henderson, 70, of Binghamton, NY, passed away peacefully after bravely battling breast cancer with unwavering strength and grace. She was predeceased by her parents Martin and Mary Salamida. Susan is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Rick Henderson; her son Evan Henderson and his wife, Angela LaRosa; her grandchildren Luna and Elio Henderson; two brothers and one sister, John Salamida (Karen), Lori Salamida (Addison Geary), Chris Salamida (Kim); her nieces and nephews, Shaun, and Terra Salamida, Wynn Geary, Forrest, Sylvan and Sage Salamida. Susan was a uniquely strong and talented individual who touched many lives through her work as a Psychotherapist for over 40 years. Her energy and humor brought light to every room she entered. She was known for her unwavering beliefs, fierce determination and she was deeply loved by her family and friends. Susan's legacy of love, generosity and resilience will forever be cherished in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warmth and kindness brought joy to everyone she met, leaving an indelible mark on the world around her. Susan’s family will receive friends at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott, NY on Saturday April 20th from 1:00 PM until 3:30 PM at which time anyone present may share a memory or kind words.
