Fay Meadows-Craig, 82, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026, in Endicott, New York. Born on June 6, 1943, in Jennersville, Pennsylvania, Fay lived a life rooted in faith, service, and love for her family and community.
A 1961 graduate of Rising Sun Central School District in Rising Sun, Maryland, Fay furthered her spiritual education at Bible Baptist College. Her deep devotion to her Baptist faith shaped every aspect of her life and inspired those around her.
Fay dedicated many years to caring for individuals with mental challenges through the New York State Family Care program. She opened both her home and heart to those in need while raising her own family with compassion and strength.
She was married to James Craig, who survives her. Fay was the beloved mother of four children: Robert Edward Meadows Jr., Gregory Eric Meadows, Pamela Fay Filor, and Brandon James Meadows. She was predeceased by her first husband and the father of her children, Robert Edward Meadows Sr., who she cared for until he went to heaven, as well as by her second husband, Lauren Howe, whom she also cared for until he went to heaven. Fay was also predeceased by four loving grandchildren, Robert Meadows, Kerri Neighbour, Cory Meadows, and Autumn Grace, and a daughter-in-law, Oneia Kaye Meadows, while also leaving behind her seven great-grandchildren, Bailey Kaye Neighbour, Lucy Elizabeth Neighbour, Penelope Rose Neighbour, Rylee Robert Neighbour, Donna Marie Morley, Oneia Roberta Morley, and Anthony Joseph Morley.
Faith and fellowship remained central to Fay’s life. She volunteered tirelessly at church—teaching Bible lessons to children and caring for little ones in the nursery. Her love for children shone brightly in every interaction.
Fay found joy in the outdoors and especially cherished time near the ocean. Summers were often spent camping—one of her greatest pleasures. The KOA campground in Unadilla, New York held a special place in her heart, where she shared laughter and lasting memories with friends and family around campfires.
Her radiant smile and warm presence brought joy wherever she went. In retirement, she continued to serve through church volunteer work and summers at the campground she loved.
May Fay Meadow-Craig’s memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
