Allan Novak, 78 of Vestal, NY, passed away unexpectedly after a 32-year battle with Parkinson’s Disease on January 1, 2026. He was predeceased by his first wife, Francine (Shayka) Novak; his son, Scott Allan Novak; his parents, George and Anna Novak; also, his sisters and brother. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Bonnie Novak; two children, Mark Novak and Nicole Bailey; one grandson, Alex Bailey; his in-laws, Cathy and Scott Shiner, Debbie and Mark Gardner, Ruth and Pat King. He was a Chief Petty Officer in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era serving in Rota, Spain. He had a 24-year career at IBM Owego and later followed his natural talent in various sales positions. He was an avid golfer, bowler, Green Bay Packer fan and participant in Punch Out Parkinson’s. He also enjoyed attending ALL of his grandson’s sporting events and spending time on his boat.
Funeral services will be held Saturday January 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd, Endicott, NY. Entombment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home on Saturday January 10th from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
