Mark A. Rought, 72, of Endicott, NY, passed away Friday, January 16, 2026 at Mercy House from lung cancer.
He was born August 24, 1953 to Muriel and Edgar Rought in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He was predeceased by his mother and father, as well as his half-brother, Richard. He is survived by his daughter, Karen, and his former wife, Lorrie.
Mark enjoyed the great outdoors, including fishing and foraging for mushrooms, and was an avid cook. His passions included classic cars, music, and history. He always had a story to tell or trivia to share. He will be missed by many.
There will be no funeral services, per his request.
