Vilma E. Valenta, 96, of Vestal, NY, passed away on July 21, 2025, at Willow Point Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Anna Valenta; her sisters, Tillie Herceg, Anna Dorash, Mary Kenowsky, Agnes Valenta, Rose Herceg and Julie Minkler; her brothers, Alfred Valenta Jr., Alec Valenta and Steve Valenta. Vilma was one of ten children and grew up on the family farm. She loved and adored many nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, Endicott. A special thank you to all the staff at Willow Point Nursing Home for all the compassion and care given to Vilma. She enjoyed attending the many social activities there, attending church services on Wednesday’s and even getting her nails done.
At Vilma's request there will be no formal funeral services.
