Lisa Hambalek, age 74, passed away on November 10, 2025.
Lisa was born in Endicott, New York on June 5, 1951. She lived in Dallas, Texas, and later Arlington, Virginia.
She is survived by her sister Ann Lahr, her brother Steve Hambalek [Kyomi], her brother in law Gregory Palm [wife Susan, daughter Ellie, son Jamie]. She is also survived by her aunt Susan Gentile[Ed], uncle John Browne, and many cousins and friends. Lisa was a devoted aunt to her nieces Jennifer Elworth [James], Kate Palm [Ken], Miranda Gallagher [Joseph], Meri Hambalek, and her nephews Patrick Lahr [Renee], Masayuki Hambalek [Junko], and Yasuaki Hambalek.
She was predeceased by her parents, Steve and Mary Hambalek, her sisters Marie Palm, Catherine Hambalek and her brother Michael Hambalek.
Among other degrees, Lisa had an MBA from Binghamton University. Prior to her retirement, she was in a leadership role for the US Postal Service in both Washington, DC, and Dallas, Texas.
What really brought Lisa joy was spending time with and following the developments of her grand-nephews Carter, Jack, Harry, Ikkei and her grand-nieces Virginia, Lilas, Zoe, and Edie.

Funeral services will be held Friday November 21st at 11:30 AM at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott, NY. Burial will follow in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home on Friday November 21st from 10:30 AMuntil time of service at 11:30 AM.
