Mary (Klima) Harasta, 93 of Endicott, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 68 years, Louis; her parents, Simon and Hilda Klima; her brothers (sisters-in-law) Albert (Mary), Tony (Helen) and Joseph Klima. Mary is survived by her sons, Joseph (Cathy), Mark (Robin), Louis (Julie), Steven (Andrea), Michael; her grandchildren, Lindsey, Valerie, Tyler, Evan, Logan, Stephanie, Kevan and Shannon; her great-children, Genevieve, Dominic, Amrie and Evangeline; her sister-in-law, Pat Klima.
Mary was devoted to her husband and family. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, C.S.A., Catholic Charities and the Moravian Club. She had a deep pride in her Czech heritage and thoroughly enjoyed her trips with her husband to Czechoslovakia to visit relatives. Mary was a deeply religious woman and spent her life caring for others.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday April 26 at 11 am at St. Joseph's Church 207 Hayes Ave. Endicott, NY. Burial will follow at Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell. The family will receive friends at St. Joseph's Church from 10 am until the Funeral Mass.
