Dorothy J. Fiori passed away peacefully on September 7, 2021. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years Orlando and her son, Jimmy. She is survived by her son Dennis (Carol) Fiori and her daughter Christine (Cliff) Young; her grandchildren Sarah Fiori, Kimberly Fiori, Karla Skidmore, Kenny Young, Matthew Fiori, and Andrea Warner; her great-grandchildren Capy, Aiden, Abby, Eli, Jackson, and Addy; her sister-in-law Sylvia Gance; her brother-in-law Roosevelt (Barbara) Fiori and her former daughter-in-law Denise Comeaux.
Dorothy's love for her family was most important to her. She became a Catholic later in life and had a strong Catholic faith. She was also a Franciscan. In the early days, she was very active in several church ministries. She also volunteered regularly at a local nursing home. She has always had a special love for animals, most recently her dog Pippen who is 20 years old. Even as she turned 95 last month, Dorothy maintained her strong and sassy personality. She was loved by her family very much and will be greatly missed. The family will announce a celebration of life at a later date.
