Horace (Buzz) Hunsinger, 96 of Endicott, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 after a brief battle with Cancer.
He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Frances Hunsinger; his step-daughter, Sharon Edwards. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Lillian Hunsinger; two children, Frank Hunsinger (Wendy), Susan Spence (Mark); three grandchildren, Shelli Randesi, Daniel Spence (Rafaela), Brian Spence (Jen); his sister, Eloise McLean. Buzz was a self employed contractor in the Triple Cities Area for over 60 years, a lifelong member and Past President of the West Corners Lions Club and a veteran of the US Army Air Force serving during World War II. The family extends sincere thanks to the staff of Lourdes Hospice and Lourdes at Home Care for the compassionate care that Buzz received.
Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 7:00 PM at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott, NY, with the Rev. David McKinney, officiating. Entombment will be in Riverhurst Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM.
