Marilyn J. (Smith) Majernik of Endicott NY, passed away unexpectedly on October 27, 2018. Mary met her husband John and was married September 2nd, 1955 while working at General Electric Air Force Plant 59 in Johnson City, New York. Mary enjoyed reading very much. A good portion of her life involved her large selection of books, some written by her mother Dorothy and sister Sandy. Mary enjoyed playing the piano and in her early days wanted to be a concert pianist. She loved all her pets and will enjoy reuniting with them again. She was predeceased by her parents Eugene and Dorothy (Martin) Smith, her sister Sandra (Smith) Wood, and her brother Selvin and wife Trudy Smith. She is survived by her dear sons Joseph Majernik and his wife Jody, John Majernik and wife Gretchen. Also her cherished aunt Evelyn Martin and cousin Rosalie Martin, brother in law Steve Majernik and wife Maureen. Marilyn graduated the Forest City Pennsylvania High School in 1949. There will be no calling hours.
