Patricia A. Censak

Patricia A. (Pat) Censak, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother went peacefully into the arms of the Lord Friday February 3, 2023.

She was predeceased by her loving and dedicated husband of 65 years Robert. She was a devoted mother to her children Michael Censak, Binghamton; Carol Taylor (Rich), Binghamton; Steven Censak (Terri), Rochester, NY. Pat was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana and was predeceased by her  parents Charles and Mary Chandler; sisters Catherine (Caroll) Spridgeon, Gladys (Fritz) Ely; brothers Charles (Vevadean) Chandler and James (Margaret) Chandler; her grandchildren who brought much joy and happiness to her; Katherine Fedorwich (Matt), Laura Kipp (Adam), Bryce Taylor (Samantha), Caroline Censak, Connor Censak; her great- grandchildren Haden, Peyton and Holden Fedorwich, Jaxson, Adrianna, and Addison Kipp, Riley Ann Taylor. Pat is also survived by her special niece Kathy Lansky.

Pat was known for her cooking and baking skills. It was always a surprise to sit down for a family holiday meal and be served something new and delicious. After Bob’s retirement, Pat and Bob took many vacations throughout the United States and Canada, they also loved to cruise in the Caribbean Islands. Pat and Bob were residents in Endwell, NY for over 50 years prior to moving to Vestal, NY.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Castle Gardens for the assistance that was shown to Pat and Bob during their residency with them. Pat was a member of the Church of The Holy Family and its Perpetual Adoration Society.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday February 18th, 2023 at 10:15 am at the Church of The Holy Family 3600 Phyllis St. Endwell where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:15 am until the time of Funeral Mass at 10:15 am.

Daniel ‘Dan’ Patrick Igo

Daniel ‘Dan’ Patrick Igo, our loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend passed away peacefully on February 1st with his devoted family by his side.

Dan was predeceased by his brothers Joe and Jim, his foster brother Gerald Knickerbocker, as well as many other family members that will greet him as he enters the gates of heaven. Dan is survived by his loving wife and ‘sweetheart’ of 30 years Bonnie; his children Donna (Bob) Gould, Danny (Mary) Igo, Karen (Mike) Allen, Lorrie (Brett) Hagerman, and Marc Igo as well as step-children Karen (Mike) Casamento and Jeff (Michele) Folejewski. He also leaves behind his sister Helen Gaffney, brother Mike Igo, and brother-in-law James Lesko. Dan leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, especially Kellie Van Fleet who had a special place in Dan’s heart. Lastly, he leaves behind his greatest legacy that brought him pride and joy – his 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Before retiring, Dan worked at Vail-Ballou Press and EIT. Upon retiring, Dan enjoyed playing his guitar, harmonica, keyboards, and singing his favorite Beatles tunes, or an original song he had written for Bonnie. Retiring also gave Dan more time to spend with special friends Pat and Bart, and Joyce and Ken. Dan was a kind, devoted, and loving man. Although our hearts our heavy, we know that one day we will be reunited again.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday February 7th at 11:00 AM at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott, NY. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home on Monday February 6th from 4 to 6 PM.

Lynn T. Fontana

Lynn T. Fontana, 76, of Endicott, passed away Monday January 30, 2023 after an extended illness.

She is survived by her husband, David J. Fontana; her daughter Lisa (Shawn) George; her son Thomas Gnau; grandchildren Zachery and Savanna George; Lifelong friend Sally Landers.

Lynn worked in the retail profession for many years, she was an avid reader and Teddy Bear Collector. Lynn will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

At the families request there will be no formal Funeral Services or public calling hours. Burial will be in Louisville, Kentucky later in the spring.

Dolores Hrusecky

Dolores Hrusecky, 88, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, at home, with family by her side.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert of 67 years. She is survived by son Donald (Bonnie) Hrusecky of Endwell, and son David (Ginny) Hrusecky of Austin, TX, and daughter Caroline Petrochko of Hermitage, PA., and 6 grandchildren: Jill and Matthew Hrusecky, Nicholas and Stephen Petrochko, Robert, and Eileen Hrusecky. She was the elder of 3 sisters, including Joan Pinkus and Rita Rhinehart.

Dolores was a graduate of Owego Free Academy, then spent a short career at IBM as a secretary before switching to a career as a mother. Her more joyful things in life, besides going to church on Sunday, was doing the daily crossword and playing the piano. She shared her love of music by teaching her daughter to play piano too, which launched a piano teaching career that lasted almost 40 years, teaching scores of young students their first scales on her upright Steinway at home. In some years she balanced as many as 25 students through afternoon and evening classes. As a teacher, she was well known throughout the music community as the kindly lady on the northside of Endicott that gave private lessons. Some of her students excelled and competed at NYSMA, always accompanied by their mentor. The big event every year was the piano recital in her home, hosting a crowd of families and featuring a couple dozen nervous students, followed by an array of goodies to eat.

Dolores was a faithful volunteer at the St Joseph’s Bazaar Bake sale, with folks vying to get her fat-free buchta.

She will always be remembered for her meticulous order managing her household, and her devout faith that guided her throughout her years. The family is grateful to all the loving aides from I Care who helped Dolores though her final months.

A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday February 4th at 11:30AM at St. Joseph's Church 207 Hayes Ave. Endicott, NY. Burial will be in Slovak Catholic Cemetery in the Spring. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 11:15 AM.

Josephine T. Iannone

Josephine T. Iannone, 99 of Endicott, passed away peacefully on Thursday January 26, 2023.

She was predeceased by her parents, Nicola and Mariannina Iannone; her brother, Anthony Iannone; her sisters, Dora Sissenstein (David), and Anita Musa; her dear friends, Jean Pedro, Phil Rano, Mary Cascio and Jean Picciano. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Geno Musa; her sister-in-law, Anna Iannone; her nieces and nephews Rick Musa (Pat), Chris Heide, Jean Musa, Tom Musa (Jennifer), Laurie Rose, Dina O’Connor-Huston (Michael), Marianne Sulich (Mike), Joanne Casiuk (Paul), David Sissenstein, Jr. (Justina), Linda Painter; her special God-Child, Julieanne Fortran; also many great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

She was a retired employee of Endicott Johnson with 47 years of service, an active member of St. Anthony of Padua Church and its choir along with many of its other groups, and a charter member of the Catholic Daughters. Josephine loved baking for her family and friends for any occasion or just to show her love.

Rosemarie (DiTommaso) Grassi

Rosemarie (DiTommaso) Grassi, 83, of Endicott, New York, passed away on January 23, 2023.

She was born to parents Arthur and Mary DiTommaso, on May 12, 1939 at Ideal Hospital, Endicott, New York.

Rosemarie was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Francis Grassi, her parents Arthur and Mary, and her daughter Cara Mia. She is survived by her children, Francis (Tracy), Christopher (Jessie), Martin, and Angelo (Paula), her grandchildren, Mark, Alec and Andrew, her great granddaughter Madison, her siblings Barbara DiTommaso, Paulette (Richard) Sonner, Arthur (GayAnn) DiTommaso, beloved in-laws Joanne (Nick) Florini and Kathie Grassi and many cousins, nephews, nieces and extended family and friends.

Rosemarie graduated from Union Endicott High School in 1956. She met Fran in 1957 and they were married on May 9, 1959 in Endicott, New York. She was a devoted wife and partner who dedicated her life to raising her five children while running the family business. Rosemarie’s love for her family was unconditional and, as all who knew her experienced, her door was always open and she put others' needs before her own. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren who were the light of her life. Rosemarie’s legacy is characterized by the way she led her life; a true angel living amongst us. The Grassi family would like to extend our gratitude to all of the staff at Wilson Memorial Hospital for their loving care.

Thomas Poklemba

Thomas Poklemba, Sr. 90 of Endwell, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2023 at Mercy House.

He was predeceased by his wife, Joyce; his brothers, Elmer, George and Fred Poklemba; his fur children, Bingo, Sparky, Peppy and Rusty. He is survived by three children, Charlene (Steve) Dedrick, Thomas Poklemba, Jr., Elizabeth (Mark) Beautz; four grandchildren, Melissa Poklemba, Ryan Poklemba, Rebecca Casella, Alex Beautz; his sister, Dorothy Sorochinsky; his sister-in-law, Mary Poklemba; also several nieces and nephews.

He was a member of The Church of the Holy Family, Endwell, a member of the Knights of Columbus, Endicott, a veteran of the US Naval Reserves, serving from 1952-1960, a retired employee of IBM and Lockheed Martin, Owego. Tom traveled to and lived in Europe for work and was an avid Duke Basketball fan. He enjoyed the fine taste of salami, italian sausage and kielbasa, some might even refer to him as the best sausage maker in Endicott. 

A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, January 26th at 10:30 AM at The Church of the Holy Family 3600 Phyllis St. Endwell, NY. Entombment will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell. Agnes B. Valenta

Agnes B. Valenta, 99 of Vestal, passed away January 17, 2023. She was predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Anna Valenta; her sisters, Tillie Herceg, Anna Dorash, Mary Kenowsky and Rose Herceg; her brothers, Alfred Valenta, Jr., and Steve Valenta. She is survived by her sisters, Vilma Valenta and Julie Minkler. Agnes was one of 10 children and grew up on the family farm.She loved and adored many nieces and nephews. She worked at Endicott Johnson, enjoyed bowling, golfing and getting together with friends at the Senior Center. She maintained a garden until she was in her early 90's and was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Endicott. Agnes was kind hearted and loved caring for family members when they were ill. She always had a kind word to cheer someone up and lived her life to the fullest. She even fed a Giraffe at Animal Adventure. There will be no funeral services or calling hours.

David George Morford

David George Morford, 62, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 14, 2023.  An accomplished meteorologist, both as lead forecaster for the NWS Forecast Office of Binghamton, NY, and as an incident meteorologist for wildfires and sporting events, Dave was also a devoted volunteer firefighter for many years, rising to the post of Assistant Chief of the Prospect Terrace Volunteer Fire Department and later of board member, while continuing to answer calls, saving lives and putting out fires.  

A dedicated and loving son, brother, uncle, husband and friend, Dave was the life of the party, bringing great comedy, kindness, and a patient, good humor to every gathering.  

Dave was born on January 20th, 1960, to George Taylor Morford and Helen Marie Morford.  The youngest of three, Dave was fascinated by all things meteorological from an early age.  He could forecast the weather and plot the route from Binghamton to Queens before he could pronounce either place correctly.  After graduating from the State University of New York, Oswego, Dave joined the National Weather Service Forecast Office at LaGuardia Airport, followed by a stint in Cortland, before returning home to the Forecast Office of Binghamton, where he remained until his retirement in 2020.  

Dave met Cindy Ann Kenderes while they were both working at Kmart, and they were married in 1987.  Dave was devoted to Cindy, a loving, thoughtful soulmate in all their days together.  They had a special way of poking fun, telling stories of the other's eccentricities, but never at their beloved's expense, both laughing through it all.  They were long-time members of the congregation of St Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church. 

Dave had many passions and hobbies: bowling, poker, cars, caving, camping, climbing, golf, comedy and film.   He was a MOPAR Man.  An auto-didact to a T, Dave was a railroad buff, a craftsman – fixing up their century-plus old home – a great reader, and a writer, working on a crime novel in his spare time.  He loved to travel, the Yankees and the Giants, and always had a story or a fun fact for every occasion.

He was preceded in death by his father George Taylor Morford, mother Helen Marie Morford, uncle George Winckler, and cousins Edward George Winckler and George Winckler.  He is survived by his loving wife Cindy, his sister Karen Templeman (Randy), brother Edward Morford, sisters-in-law Debby Nelen (Mark) and Linda Marrs Morford, uncle Edward Winckler (Katherine), aunt Gertrude Winckler, and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Dave was loved deeply and will be sorely missed.

Funeral services will be held Saturday January 21st at 11:00 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church 212 Hill Ave. Endicott, NY. Burial will follow in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell, NY. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday January 20th from 4:00 - 7:00 PM.

Mark J. Somple

Mark J. Somple, 60 of Binghamton,NY, passed away suddenly of cardiac arrest on Tuesday January 10, 2023. He was predeceased by his father, Dennis Somple; his uncle and Godfather, Fr. John Chupeck. He is survived by his wife, Petra Somple; his mother, Pauline Somple; his brother, Nick (Kelly) Somple; his nephew, Michael Somple; his niece, Sarah Somple; also, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was a 1984 graduate of Lafayette College and a member of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church, Binghamton.
Funeral services will be held Monday January 16th at 10:00 AM at the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church, 54 Baxter St. Binghamton, NY 13905. Donald C. Osman

Donald C. Osman, 84 of Vestal, was reunited with his wife Phyllis on January 6, 2023.

She predeceased him on January 26, 2016. He was also predeceased by his parents, Charles and Anna Osman; two brothers, Richard and Joseph Osman; his sister, Mary Anne Gowe. He is survived by three loving children, Jeffrey, Timothy (Debbie), and Lori; eight beloved grandchildren, Scott (Nicolette), Lindsay (Robert), Anthony, Derek, Conner, Dennis, Rachel and Emily; two great-grandchildren, Wesley and Archie; his sister, Francesca Osman Corea.

Don is a Veteran of the US Army, a member of the Carpenters Union, Local #281, co-founder of Vestal Youth Football League, a longtime member of the Catatonk Woodcarvers Club and The American Legion.             

Funeral services will be held Saturday January 14th at 1:00 PM at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott, NY, immediately followed by a reception at The Vestal Center Social Club on Route 26 in Vestal Center. Antoinette Nemchick

Antoinette P. Nemchick, 90, of Johnson City, NY passed away November 26, 2022.

Born in Hazleton, PA, Antoinette was the daughter of the late Sebastian and Congetta (Castrine) Ferrari.  Preceding Antoinette in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband Carl, siblings Nunzio “Al”, Anthony, Cecilia, Pasquale, Frances, and Mary Ann.  Antoinette is survived by her daughter Debra Williams, Binghamton, NY; daughter Cindy and husband Aaron Quince, Highlands Ranch, CO; son David and wife Kim Nemchick, Castle Rock, CO; and grandchildren Jason and Sierra Quince, Nicholas Nemchick, and Samantha (Nemchick) Horton.  Antoinette is also survived by siblings Eugene “Geno” and wife Shirley Ferrari, JoAnne Franzosa, Anna Mae Milora, and sister-in-law Carol Ferrari, as well as many nephews and nieces.

As a young girl Antoinette helped support her family by working at Fedullo’s restaurant in Hazleton and in the garment industry.  Later Antoinette was employed at Tung Sol in Hazleton where she met her husband, Carl.  Antoinette and Carl raised their family in Apalachin, NY where they lived in a wonderful neighborhood and where Antoinette made lifelong friends.  She enjoyed bowling, ceramics, and playing bingo.  Antoinette loved being around people and considered everyone a friend.  She knew and took an interest in the lives of almost everyone who lived and worked at the United Methodist Homes Hilltop Campus in Johnson City where she proudly lived in her independent apartment for the past 11 years.  Her greatest sources of joy were her children and grandchildren.

Our family would like to thank the following for providing our mother with such excellent care for the past 20 years: Dr. Matthew Bennett who treated her as he would his own mother, Prima Ramanathan who so compassionately helped manage her pain, and Tory and the rest of Dr. Bennett’s staff at UHS Pain Management; also Tom Janik, Pat Telfer, and the staff at Southern Tier Physical Therapy who empowered her to have an active life.  She had a wonderful quality of life because of all of you.

Additionally, we would like to thank Dr. Adam Cloud and the CV ICU team at UHS Wilson Hospital (especially Leah, McKenzie, Jessica, Carlo, and Stacie) who all went above and beyond in their duties and care of our mother.  You were her biggest advocates and not only gave her the support she needed to fight at every stage of her journey, but also gave us the support we needed to make the appropriate decisions at each stage.   

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 21st from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 801 Main St. Vestal, NY 13850, followed by a memorial mass at 11:00.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Heart Association, 1-800-242-8721 or the American Diabetes Association, 1-800-342-2383 in memory of Antoinette Nemchick.

Barbara (Howard) Saraceno

Barbara (Howard) Saraceno, of Endicott, NY quietly passed on the morning of January 9, 2023 at the age of 85 after succumbing to the slow decline of dementia.

As with everything in her life, she made her transition from this world as easy as possible for everyone around her. She is predeceased by many family and friends, her husband (Frank Saraceno), brother (Glenn Howard), sister (Ruth Fish), and son (Raymond Corell). She is survived by her son (Frank), daughter (Lisa Strahley), grandchildren (Anthony, Katie, Meghan, Morghan, Ryan, and Braden), and great-grandchildren (Jayden, Rayna, Kylee, and Kolton). Many extended family members and life-long friends also feel her loss.

Barbara spent a lifetime sharing the love in her heart with others. Her extraordinary sense of style and ability to connect with others made her an excellent real estate agent and clothing store salesperson and manager, but most remember her for the loving and selfless friend and family member she was through her final days.

Though she loved the beach and her vacations at Cape May, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an excellent cook and provider whose genuine warmth shone through each encounter with everyone in her life.

Her family wishes to thank the staff at Yesteryears and the Willow Point Nursing Home for their loving care for Barbara these past months.

Shirley M. (Busch) Lockett

Our dear mother, Shirley M. (Busch) Lockett, 93, sadly passed away on January 4, 2023 at Mercy House of the Southern Tier surrounded by her family.

She was predeceased by the love of her life Americo (Sparkey) Lockett; her parents Wilhelmina and Theodore Busch; her sister Elizabeth (Eugene) Brewer; her in-laws Angelo and Teresa Lockett; her sister-in-law Josephine (Anthony) Panella; her brothers-in-law John (Matilda) Lockett, Michael (Anna) Lockett, Vincent J. Lockett and Vera Fasoli. She is survived by her loving children Bonnie (Michael) Sissenstein, Robert (Ann) Lockett, and Linda (Byron) James; six grandchildren Christopher (Jacquelyn) Curry, Marissa (Bob) Marvin, Gina (Lucas) Taylor, Richelle (Niccolo) Stento, Nicole (David) Hettinger, Nicolas (Madyson) James; six great-grandchildren Dylen, Riley, Evan, Aubrey, Jack and Sloan; one great-great-grandson Cryson; also several nieces and nephews.

She was a wonderful mother who had a very sweet disposition. She adored her family and was always there when they needed her. She enjoyed spending time in Florida with her husband and spending time with family at her cottage. She enjoyed eating at the Broadway Diner and trips to the casinos with her husband. She lived life to its fullest and she will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Joan Krasowski

Joan Krasowski, 85, of Endwell, NY passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.

Joan was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Arthur W. Krasowski. She is survived by her five children: Janet (HyJay) Potter, Michael Krasowski, Kathy (David) Testa, Scott Krasowski, and Kim Nostrom; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law Patricia Tracy.

Joan was employed as a nurse by Lourdes Hospice in Binghamton, and later worked at the Ideal Senior Living Center in Endicott until her retirement.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM on Wednesday, January 11th at St. Joseph’s Church, 207 Hayes Ave in Endicott. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 10AM until the time of the service at 11AM. Private burial will take place immediately following the service. Dominick (Danny) Porretta

Dominick (Danny) Porretta, 101 years old of Endicott, passed away on December 27, 2022 after a brief illness. He was born on February 16, 1921 in Pofi, Italy, and immigrated to the U.S. at sixteen years old.

He married the love of his life, Pauline Cerasaro on September 28, 1946. They shared a long commitment to each other recently celebrating their 76th wedding anniversary.

Dominick was predeceased by his parents Lorenzo and Angela Porretta (Pofi) and siblings Joseph (Pep), Anthony (Tony), Henry (Hank), Ida (Pat) Swagler.

He is survived by his wife Pauline, and three children David (Mary) Porretta, Westerville, Ohio, Donna (Doc) Malone, Orlando, Fl, and Paula (Tom) Kieffer, Syracuse as well as seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He loved his family beyond measure and took pride in all their achievements.

Dominick was a warm-hearted, generous soul. He loved life, family, and friends, and always offered a helping hand to those in need. He took pride in his home, family, and Italian traditions.

Following his retirement from The Town of Union, he worked athletic events at Union Endicott High School, and volunteered for En-Joie Professional Golf Tournaments. Dominick was an actively engaged parishioner at St. Anthony of Padua Church for many years and a proud member of the Knights of Columbus.

Tammy Lou (Simpson) Caciola

Tammy Lou (Simpson) Caciola, 63 of Endicott, passed away peacefully on Monday January 2, 2023 surrounded by her family.

She was predeceased by her parents Gerald R. Simpson, Sr and Phyllis (Wade) Simpson. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 37 years Leonard J. Caciola of Endicott; daughter and son-in-law Alicia (Max) Felice; grandson Adam Felice; granddaughter Kara Felice of all of Illonois; brother and sister-in-law Gerald R. (Lori) Simpson, Jr of Endicott; niece Lindsay (Sammy) Mancini; great-nephew Henry Richard Mancini of Owego; nephews Ryan T. Simpson and Troy J. (Crystal) Simpson, all of Endicott; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Joyce (Wayne) Stickles; her longtime dear friend Tina Bucinell; also several cousins.

Tammy graduated from Newark Valley High School in 1977 and immediately began working at the Bank of New York as a key punch operator and later became a teller for KeyBank with 22 years of service. Tammy loved the outdoors, camping and cross-country skiing, Christmas, snowmen and her Saturday drives, she loved her little country home, as well as her many cats.

Tammy fought a tough and courageous battle against diabetes for 53 years, never giving in and never giving up. Her strength was an inspiration to us all. The family would like to thank the staff at UHS Cardiovascular ICU and Dr. Mohammad Quasem.

The family will receive friends and family on Saturday January 7th, 2023, at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott, NY from 11:00 AM – 12 Noon. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the American Diabetes Association or the Town of Maine Ambulance or adopt a cat.

Nancy Brokaw Corder

Nancy Brokaw Corder, 80 of Endwell, NY, passed away Saturday December 31, 2022. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Frances Tighe, her brother and sister-in-law, Thomas (Bridget) Tighe; her first husband, Shep Brokaw; her second husband, Gary Corder. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy (John) Hardy; her stepchildren, Cindi (James) Corder-Crossett, Kelly (Kurt) Buchta; her sister, Victoria (Michael) Krajnyk; her cousin and best friend, Linda DeSandre; also several extended family members. The family will receive friends at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott, NY on Friday January 6th from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM followed by a reception at Close Quarters 1401 Pine St. Endicott, NY. 

Michael D. Trevarthan,

Michael D. Trevarthan, age 70 of Endwell, NY (formerly of Montrose, PA) Unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2022.

He is predeceased by his parents Ina & Jack Trevarthan, his aunt & uncle Russell & Lettie Trevarthan, sister in law Carol Trevarthan, nephew David Trevarthan Jr and brother in law Mortimer Connis, He is survived by his loving wife and partner of 36 years, Patricia Bettis - Trevarthan and his children by choice, Anthony (Lynn) Bezouka, Cynthia (Mark) Lane, Mindy (Will) Orzel and Codi Bezouka-Smith, as well as numerous grandchildren who he cherished. He is survived by his brother David Trevarthan (Susquehanna, PA), numerous nieces and nephews, as well as his in laws Tammy Jo (Greg) Vymislicky and Bob (Charlotte) Connis.

Michael was a veteran and served in the US Navy aboard the USS Forestall and served in the US Army Reserve thereafter. He retired from UHS Wilson Memorial Hospital where he worked as a registered nurse on NT4. He was proudly one of the first male graduates of Decker School of Nursing and was a member of Sarah Jane Methodist Church.

Michael was a devoted family man who enjoyed every moment he spent with family and friends. He was always there to teach and/or lend a helping hand. Michael enjoyed hiking, reading, prepping, traveling, scuba diving and sky diving. His greatest passion was always his family. He was a man of few words but was always nurturing, loving, forgiving and kind. He will be forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew him and loved him.

Funeral services will be held Friday January 6, 2023 at the Vestal United Methodist Church 328 Main St. Vestal, NY 13850 at 12 Noon. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 11:00 AM until time of service at 12 Noon

Charlotte Dean Bush

Charlotte Dean Bush, 66, of Endwell, NY, passed away after a short illness on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton, NY.  She was predeceased by her parents, Leo and Marjorie Dean; her grandparents, Fred and Pearl Dean, George and Nellie Nichols; her aunts, Betty Brecht, Anna (Fred) Stiles, Rita (Tom) Lacey; her in-laws, George A. and Mary E. Bush. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Mickey Bush; her adoring daughters, Jennifer (Christopher) Yurko, Jessica (Kyle) Goldcamp; her precious grand-children, who meant the world to her, Mackenzie and Ellison Yurko, Lucas, Graham and Trent Goldcamp; her sister, Kathryn (Charles) Fuller; her nephews, Gregory (Katie) Fuller, Scott (Samantha) Fuller, Dan Fuller (Gayle Landry); also several cousins and many dear friends. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Endicott, NY,  the O.L. Davis Fire Company, Endwell, NY, and ELOCA, Endwell, NY, where she ran "Safety Town'' for over 10 years; and was also a former Girl Scout Leader who mentored each girl to earn their Gold Award in her Troop.  Charlotte was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who always supported her family, never missing a practice, game, championship game, recital, or any event. She will be remembered for many things, especially her big smile, her kindness, and her love of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 29th, at 9:30 AM, from the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc., 1905 Watson Blvd., Endicott, NY, and at 10:00 AM from St. Joseph's Church 207 Hayes Ave.,  Endicott, NY.   Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY.  The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 28th, from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Charlotte's memory may be made to St. Anthony's Food Pantry, 906 Jenkins St., Endicott, NY 13760.
