Anna (Antalek) Kennedy

Anna (Antalek) Kennedy, 90 of Endwell, NY, took the hand of the Lord on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles J. Kennedy; her parents, Rudolph and Anna Antalek; her brother, Thomas Antalek; her great-grandson, Derick Eckert; her aunt, Pauline Rouse. She is survived by five children, Charles M. Kennedy (Lynette) of Endwell, NY, James F. Kennedy (Mitzy Mason) of Dacono, Colorado, Suzanne Verity (Christopher) of Maine, NY, David Kennedy (Nadine) of Johnson City, NY, Patricia DeMarle (David) of Burnt Hills, NY; ten grandchildren, Patrick Kennedy (Ashley), Matthew Kennedy (Erin Cummiskey), Jo Anne Eckert, Connor, Maeve and Ryan Verity, David Kennedy, Margaret, Dorothea and Josephine DeMarle; four great-grandchildren, Joshua Kennedy (Morgan Lanza), Rachel Kennedy (Dylan Novitske), Catelyn and Deneese Eckert; two great-great-grandchildren, Estelle and Amelia Kennedy; her sister-in-law, Bernadine Antalek; her brother, Rudolph J. Antalek (Kathy); her special sister friend, Gloria; also several nieces, nephews, cousins and Smokey the Cat.

She was a lifetime member of St. Joseph’s Church, Endicott, a former employee of GE and a member of the Civil Air Patrol. She was an avid bowler in earlier years, an avid couponer and magnet collector. She was a loving mother, confidant and matriarch who cared deeply for her family. Anna’s family extends special thanks to her caregivers at home and Sara and Abbie at Silver Linings Golden Memory Care and the staff at Good Shepherd Village in Endwell for their extraordinary and compassionate care.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. from the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott, NY and at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church 207 Hayes Ave. Endicott, NY where a Funeral Mass will be held. Mildred Julia (Kluka) Sviatyla

Mildred Julia (Kluka) Sviatyla (1924-2022), fell asleep in the lord at home on January 29th in Fernandina Bch, FL surrounded by her devoted and beloved daughters. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Harold in 1989. She is survived by her three daughters: Daria (Chip) Schewe, Punta Gorda, FL, Melonie (Cliff) Herman, Fernandina Bch, FL, Loreen (Peter) Chin, Sarasota, FL, grandchildren Cody, Elissandra, and Jesse Chin, step grandchildren Jeffrey, Christopher and Matthew Schewe, Jared, Nicholas and Jonathan (Zanita) Herman, sister-in-law Valeria Smayda, godchild/niece Karen (John) Zapko, niece Diane (Bob) Mueller, and many other loved nieces, nephew and cousins. 

Mildred resided on Warren Street in Vestal for almost 40 years, and enjoyed many close and warm relationships with her neighborhood family. She belonged to St Peter and Paul’s RO church in Endicott where she developed many special and long lasting friendships. 

In 2014, Mildred started splitting her time between her daughter’s homes in NY, and FL where she was affectionately known as “Mamma Millie”. She was a wonderful and loving woman who touched everyone she met with her zest for life, vivacity, generosity and wit. She thoroughly enjoyed keeping up with people via email and Facebook, watching Jeopardy, and remembering family and friend’s birthdays with a card or note. Her memory was phenomenal and many times left her family speechless with her ability to remember names, faces, dates and of course birthdays. Mamma Millie will be dearly missed by ALL who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Funeral services will be held, Friday April 8, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, 210 Hill Ave. Endicott, NY. Burial will follow in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal, NY. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m.

Louis Cane

Louis Cane, 89 of Endicott, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. He was predeceased by his parents, Caesar and Jennie (Villata) Cane. He is survived by several cousins. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott and a retired employee of IBM Owego. He was a 1950 graduate of Union Endicott High School and a 1952 graduate of State Tech Binghamton. Special thanks to Dr. Shoaib Ahmed and cousins, Carol and Wayne Cerinetti for their care and concern for many years. Franklyn (Don) Dinola

Franklyn (Don) Dinola passed away peacefully at age 88, on March 4, 2022. He was predeceased by his parents, Matthew and Mary and sister, Phyllis (George) Lurenz. He is survived by his loving wife, Elaine of 68 years, sons Michael (Sandy) of Chapel Hill, NC,  and Matthew (Lisa) of Waltham, MA, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and his loving sister Jane Putrino of Endicott, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Don proudly served in the US Marine Corp during the Korean War. He moved to Buffalo, NY in 1982 as owner and operator of Buffalo Thermo King. He then worked as superintendent of Mount Calvary Cemetery Group until his retirement at age 80. He belonged to numerous military service organizations including Clarence American Legion #838 and the Clarence Rotary Club where he was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow for his charitable work supporting the community. He and Elaine recently relocated to Johnson City to be near family.

His sense of humor and gift of storytelling made him memorable to everyone he met. He was passionate about his work, golf, pets and all Buffalo sports teams-Go Bills!

A private service to celebrate his life and spirit will be held at a future date. In his honor, donations may be made to a military service organization of your choice.

Debra A. Cooper, 62, of Endwell, NY, passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 4, 2022, at her home. She was predeceased by her husband, Carl Brown; her parents, William H. and Sally J. Cooper; her brother, Robert Cooper. She is survived by three daughters, Christina Hayward, Lea Randisi (Joshua), Winnie Betzenhauser (Matt Micalizzi); her grandchildren, Ryan Jackson, Andre Weather, Maxwell and Aaliyah Hayward, Oliver and Miles Randisi, Lilliana Micalizzi; her sister, Linda Pellett (Richard); her brother, Gary Cooper (Angie); also several nieces, nephews and her beloved dog, Marty. She was a retired employee of IBM Endicott.

Henry A. Becker, 86 of Endicott, NY, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Wilson Hospital. He was predeceased by his son, Thomas Becker in 1996; his parents, Henry and Alice Becker; his sister, Margaret Mirabella; his nephew, Billy Mirabella. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Nancy (Kondrack) Becker; his daughter, Susan Becker; his grandchildren, Isabella, Justin and Evee Syed; his sisters-in-law, Frances Pritchard, Kathy Baio, Marge (Howard) Rein, Mary Beth Bassett, Eileen (Mike) Wishnies; his dear friends, Ann and Don Kumpon; also several nieces, nephews, cousins, 1 great nephew, 1 great-great nephew. Jacqueline (Darling) Leet

Jacqueline (Darling) Leet of Endwell, NY, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022. She was preceded in death by her son John Patrick; her parents Jack and Helen Darling; her brother James (JD) Darling and her canine companions Misty, Coco and Dutchie. She was the beloved wife of over 40 years to John (Jake) Leet; devoted mother of Kate (Michael) Dingell; grandmother to Grace and Elise Dingell; loving sister to Gary (Marcia) Darling, Shirley (Paul) Smith; her brother-in-law, Brian (Rita) Leet. She was loved by many nieces and nephews, Heather (Joel), Allison, Christine, Nicole (Tom), Melissa (Ryan), Andy (Beth), Josh (Casey), Jason (Brittany), Christopher (Abigail), Matthew; and though not family, JJ and Ashley.
Jacki was an avid New York Yankees fan, lover of books, crime dramas and fountain diet coke. She took pride in helping family and friends. She found joy in spending time baking and watching her granddaughters grow.

Over the years, Jacki dedicated herself to volunteer work. During the holidays she took delight at organizing the Christmas room for Samaritan House and served as the President of the Board for many years. For 15 years she was a leader at St. Joseph’s School and was instrumental in fundraising efforts. In later years she took comfort in promoting and supporting the John Patrick Leet Memorial Scholarship Fund at SUNY Broome.

Gail A. Pfeiffer (née Hossler)

Gail A. Pfeiffer (née Hossler), 61, of Apalachin, NY, passed away peacefully in her home on February 25, 2022, following a hard-fought battle with cancer.

 Born on August 10, 1960, in Kingston, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert M. Hossler and Dorothy (née Koscielski) Hossler. She graduated from Wyoming Valley West High School in 1978 and King’s College in 1983, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. Gail has resided in Apalachin since 2006 and previously in Forty Fort and Kingston, PA. She was employed as a property manager for Feinberg-Smith in Vestal, NY. 

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend. Gail took pride in being an avid dog lover and, most importantly, a hockey mom and super mom to her two boys. She was the best mother and father, as she raised her sons from a very young age on her own. They were her pride and joy, and she saw her sons as her greatest accomplishment, and rightly so. She also enjoyed traveling with her family and was adamant about making the vacation dinner reservation at 6 a.m., before she even had breakfast. She made the most perfect pancakes and brownies in the world, and her guilty pleasures were late-night shopping on QVC and soap opera reruns. 

In 1991 she married the love of her life William T. Pfeiffer, who predeceased her in 2007. Gail is survived by her sons, John (29) of Philadelphia, PA, Brian (25) of Grand Rapids, MI, step-sons, Matthew and Liam, brother, Robert Hossler, sister, Carol Lojewski, two grandchildren, Riley and Declan, her father and mother-in-law, William and Barbara Pfeiffer, many nieces and nephews, and her dog Bailey.

 Special thanks to the doctors and medical staff at Medical Oncology Associates, University of Pennsylvania, and New York University, who went above and beyond in their care and compassion, especially Dr. Saidman, Dr. Mamtani, Dr. Christodouleas, Dr. Balar, and Cheri McGrane. 

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on March 5, 2022, at 10:15 a.m. at Saint Ignatius of Loyola Church, 339 N. Maple Avenue, Kingston. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the church. Robert J. Duncan

Robert J. Duncan, 87, of Endwell,NY passed away Friday February 25, 2022. He was predeceased by his wife Carol Duncan, his daughter Kim Watts and his son David Duncan. He is survived by 2 sons Kyle (Suzanne) Duncan, Michael (Deborah) Duncan; 2 daughters Cindy (Virgil) Pund, Melissa (Alex) Becker; Daughter in law Stacey Duncan; Son in law Brooks Watts; Grandchildren Evan, Collin, Abigail, Rachel, Katie, Matthew, Samantha, Cole, Kyle, Bryce, Eleanor, Greyson, Emily, John, Anthony, Mary, also several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and graduated from its first Submarine School in Key West,Fl. He served as a radar sonar man on the USS Frigate Bird. Bob was the retired owner of Reagan/Compar Inc. He graduated from Penn State University and was a proud Nittany Lions Fan. Bob enjoyed all sports, especially golf, the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Yankees and New York Rangers. Bob also enjoyed spending the winter months in Siesta Key, Florida.

Private Funeral Services will be held. Entombment will be in Riverhurst Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.

Rosalie P. Poss

Rosalie P. Poss, 93, of Endicott, went to be with the Lord Saturday February 19, 2022, with her devoted daughter and her four legged companion Bella by her side. She was predeceased by her husband William J. Poss; parents Albert and Agatha Gance; Brother Anthony (Marcella) Gance. She is survived by her devoted and loving daughter Dee, Nephews Richard (Virginia) Gance, Gerald (Rose Mary) Gance, Scott (Linda) Gance; Niece Claudia (Wayne) Westcott.

She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Endicott and a retired IBM Endicott Employee. Rose enjoyed visiting with her out of town nephews and niece who always put a smile on her face. Her love of dancing, singing in many church choirs and community choruses will always be remembered. Rose especially enjoyed being with her family, playing Scrabble, and going out to dinner. Mom you and your loved ones are at home in heaven. Rest now; I love you with all my heart Dee. Dee wishes to thank the entire staff of Susquehanna Nursing Center for the love and compassion that was shown to Rose over the past three years.

Robert Saul Cohen (Bob)

Robert Saul Cohen (Bob), 83, passed away suddenly on February 11, 2022. He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Sadie Cohen, and his grandson Christopher Crampton. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Mary Ellen Cohen; children, Linda Crampton, Laura (Jamie) Bigelow, David (Angela) Cohen, Matt (Jessie) Hrehor; his beloved grandchildren; Matthew, Mia, Devon, Leah, Treyvor, Cara, David, Marshall, Lane, Sadie, Liem, Stella; great grandchildren Emma, Jesse;  sister Sandy Getman; many “favorite” nephews and special friends Jackie, Guss and Janet as well as Kelly whom he watched over and took care of for 20 years. Bob lived a life of service and love, an example of all that’s beautiful in this life. He was kind, wise and walked what he talked. At 19 he volunteered with youth at the psych center in Boston and continued with many service organizations – Jaycees, Special Olympics, Chow, Project Paws, Bingo for the Blind, Mercy House, Vestal Challenger League Baseball, and Binghamton General Hospital (In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in his name to St. Jude or Mom’s House). Bob loved his dog Ernie, scratch offs (which was always the highlight of Christmas for his grandkids), playing hearts selflessly according to his nephew Gary and most of all his Boston Red Sox which he proudly shared his love of with his daughter and grandson! He never went anywhere without a hat, jacket, or shirt with the Red Sox on it! Bob championed the human spirit in a quiet determined voice and by action knowing no matter how big or small we can make this world a better place now and for his grands and great grands. Bob will be remembered for living his life with grace, kindness, dignity, love and humor and saw this world thru the lens of the moment. As his granddaughter stated, BE A BOB!

A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 300 Odell Ave. Endicott, NY at 11:30 AM on Tuesday February 15, 2022. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of Mass at 11:30 AM.

Margaret Hilda Anderson

Margaret Hilda Anderson, 89, passed away on February 5, 2022 in Endicott, New York.

Margaret was born in Watford, England to Ernest and Jemima (Stenstrom) Venes on July 30, 1932.  Margaret was preceded in death by John, her husband of nearly 65 years. She was the proud mother of three sons:  Paul, wife Jane, granddaughters Kate and Claire; Stephen, fiancé, Ketevan; and Olin, wife Dianne, granddaughter Lara and grandson Lucas.  Margaret is survived by her sister Patricia and brother Ernest, as well as nieces and nephews around the world who remember their aunt with great fondness. 

After studying the culinary arts in London, Margaret met John while both were working at Kodak.  Showing her generous spirit early in life, Margaret was on hand in 1952, serving survivors and responders following a large train accident in Harrow, London.  Margaret and John were married on July 20, 1956 and started a family before emigrating to the United States in 1967.  Living in Binghamton, New York, John worked as an aeronautical engineer, and a marketing and sales consultant. Margaret and John moved to Ormond Beach, Florida in the 1980’s for John’s job with General Electric in Daytona Beach and later his own firm in Ormond Beach. Margaret reveled in motherhood, taking care of her “three boys”, often on her own, when John was on one of his many frequent overseas trips.  Her sons will always cherish the memories of Margaret’s wonderful dinners, often enjoyed by John’s visiting International clients. During long Winter months in Binghamton, Margaret could often be found sitting at her bay window watching the cars and wildlife go by in the snow.

In later years, Margaret would enjoy taking cruises with John to the Caribbean, but was never happier than when she was together with her entire family.  Her sons will remember her many stories about growing up in England during World War II, including her recollections of the many military servicemembers she encountered from all over the world who were billeted near her family’s home.  Despite the distances between them, Margaret always remained close to her brother, Ernest, in Christchurch, New Zealand, and her sister, Patricia, in Rockaway Beach, Oregon. 

A Requiem Mass will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament Church in Vestal, New York on March 5, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., followed by an interment at Riverhurst Cemetery in Endwell, New York.

Suzan Marie Mrva

Suzan Marie Mrva, 65, of Endicott NY, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on February 6, 2022.  She was the daughter of Emily and Michael F. Mrva. She is survived by her brothers, Thomas and Jeanne Mrva of North Smithfield, RI, and Michael D. and Cindy Mrva of Vestal, NY.  She had six nieces and nephews and their spouses, and six great-nieces and nephews. Suzan worked at IBM for 25 years in the field of data processing.  She was known for her sense of humor, quick wit and compassion for others.  She loved her family deeply. The family wishes to thank the Union emergency team and the medical staff of Wilson Hospital for their excellent care.

 Funeral services will be held Friday, February 18, 2022 at 5:45 PM at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd, Endicott, NY. God bless our loving mother who went to join her husband in heaven. Mary Weiskopff, 93 of Endicott, passed away, Friday, February 4, 2022, at Lourdes Hospital with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Donald Weiskopff; parents Constantine and Domenica Mingarelli; brothers Robert and Joseph; and sisters Leanora Scarinzi (Ted) and Theresa Howell (Edward); survived by six children Dennis Weiskopff (Sandy VanVestrout); Carolyn (Frank) Rogers; Timothy Weiskopff; Bernadette (Chung) Ma; Marilyn Grenchus; and Thomas (Erine) Weiskopff; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law, Phyllis and Jiggs Mingarelli; also several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her marriage to our father began as a blind date in which a proposal for marriage was sealed with a song, “Be My Love”. They were married and started a family. She was a graduate of Union Endicott High School, Class of 1946, and a member of St. Ambrose Church. She was a kind, giving, and loving person who devoted much of her time to family—character values she instilled within her children. She was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for her grandchildren, gardening, sewing, baking, and assisting leaders with the Brownies and Girl Scouts Troops in Endicott. She will be remembered forever as a gracious mother with a huge heart.

A special thank you to her caregivers for their compassion over the last few years. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. (1905 Watson Blvd., Endicott) on Friday, February 11th from 11 AM to 1 PM, following with funeral services at 1 PM. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY. Concetta (Muscatello) Rotondi

Concetta (Muscatello) Rotondi, 92 of Vestal, NY, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2022 at the Vestal Park Nursing Center surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her parents, Camillo and Elisa Muscatello; her husband, Michael D. Rotondi; her son, Nicholas Rotondi; her brothers, William, Frank and Thomas Muscatello; her sisters, Mary Diute, Alana Yanowiak, Alice Rabert and Anne Mason. She is survived by three children, Bernadette Brinsko (David), Michael Rotondi (Heidi), Elisa Eaton (Jeff); five grandchildren, Nicole Schrader (Eric), Kellie Musa (Mike), Tyler Eaton (Kendra), Karleigh Eaton, Erica Zunner and family; five great-grandchildren, Olivia, Eric and Max, Micah and Briella; two sisters-in-law, Mary Muscatello and Theresa Muscatello; also several nieces and nephews. She was a devout catholic and member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal. Connie took exceptional care of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren as a stay at home mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Her family always came first and her joy was in giving to others whether it was food, time or money.

Connie treated all her friends like family. Her house and kitchen were always open. In earlier years she enjoyed taking trips with Mike and spending time at the casino. Her smile and her comfort will be greatly missed. The impact she left on our lives will never be forgotten.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday February 8th at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 801 Main St. Vestal, NY. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 9:15 AM until time of Mass at 10:00 AM. Anita Amelia Musa

Anita Amelia Musa, 92, of Endicott, New York, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2022, with her loving husband of 70 years, Geno Musa, by her side. 

Anita was born on July 11, 1929, in Endicott. She was predeceased by her parents, Nick and Mariannina Iannone, her sister, Dora Sissenstein (David), her brother-in-law Bud Trapani, sister-in-law Lee Puleo, and brother-in-law Nun Puleo. 

Anita will be greatly missed by her son, Rick (Pat) Musa of Candor, daughter, Chris Heide of Endicott, daughter, Jean Musa of Charlotte, North Carolina, son Thomas (Jennifer) Musa of Endicott, grandchildren, Nick Musa, Jes (Mat) Silverstein, Kate Musa (Evan Sumner), Brian Heide (Gemma Lamar), Derek Heide, Olivia Mulvaney, and Ally Musa, and her great-grandchildren, Iza Silverstein, Ezra Heide-Lamar, and Eli Heide-Lamar.  Anita is also survived by her siblings, Tony (Anna) Iannone and Josephine Iannone, and her sister-in-law Fil Trapani.

Anita was employed for many years at Endicott Johnson, The Keypunch Center, and at Lourdes Hospital.  After her retirement from Lourdes, Anita served as a Broome County Court Attendant where she thoroughly enjoyed both her work and her interactions with co-workers.  Anita organized many bus trips to Atlantic City in the early 1980s, and she was always ready to “take a ride” to the casinos or play cards with family and friends.

Anita’s family was the center of her world, and she was entirely devoted to them. She often showed her love through cooking for family and friends and was known for her legendary homemade pizza, pasta, bread, soup, baked beans, and pecan pie. Family parties were made extra special by Anita’s warm smile and wonderful cooking.  She enjoyed crocheting blankets for everyone in her family (including their pets).  Anita’s family cherishes many special memories of long meals shared together and of fun summer gatherings at Finger Lakes vacation rentals.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 31, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Endicott, NY. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.

Anita’s family would like to thank the Tulip Court staff at Ideal Nursing Home for the compassionate care they extended to Anita over the past two years. 

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Mercy House of the Southern Tier.

David Jon English

David Jon English, 56 of Johnson City, NY, passed away Sunday January 23, 2022 after a long battle with illness. He was predeceased by his father, Jon English; his sister, Annmarie English. He is survived by his son Dante, who was his pride and joy; his mother, Marie English; his sisters, Kim (Bob) Arnold, Angela English (Kir Noel), Michelle (Nick) Putrino; his aunts, Kay Menichetti and Judy Mulligan; his uncle, Jeff English; his dear friends, Myron Menichetti, David and Ray Ray Iannone, and Kevin Decker; also many nieces, nephews and cousins.

David was a landscaper until his health forced him into early retirement. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan and enjoyed working on cars with his son. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 28, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church 300 Odell Ave. Endicott, NY 13760. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 4:00 PM until 5:45 PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to Mercy House 212 N. Blane R. Chandler

Blane R. Chandler, 58 of Glen Aubrey, NY, passed away Wednesday morning, January 12, 2022. He is survived by his son, Zachary Chandler (Nicole); his grandsons, Ethan and Damien Chandler; his sister, Sherry Savage, and her children, Sullivan, Tara, Jasmine, Jeff, and Johnathan.

Blane enjoyed playing horseshoes and his joke page on Facebook. He was an Eagle Scout who loved camping, fishing, and the outdoors. He loved his classic rock and had a heart of gold. He could never tell anyone no. He loved watching movies and was a big fan of sci-fi. Blaine loved spending time in the Adirondacks and going to wineries. His favorite sports teams were the Buffalo Bills and New York Mets.

Edward (Ace) Kelly

Edward (Ace) Kelly, 94, of Endwell fell asleep with the Lord on January 16, 2022. Ace was born in Mildred,PA, on November 20, 1927 with his twin sister Rita. They were the youngest of 11 children. Ed was predeceased by his parents Antonio and Isabella Celi, his brothers Joseph, Dominic, Fred, Ralph, and Timothy; his sisters Lucy, Anna, Phyllis, Rita and Madeline; also his best friend and “mother of his of children” as he would say, Susan Kelly. He was predeceased by his nephews Mark and Fred Jr., his nieces Mary Catherine and Bernadette. He is survived by his two daughters Lori (John Donnelly) and Lisa, also his grandson and best pal and the love of his life, Anthony Edward. He taught Anthony how to do many things around the house as well as golfing, driving, but most of all just hanging out together as they always did. They were each other’s strength and happiness.

Ed graduated from Mildred High School and joined the US Army serving during the Korean War. When Ed came back he went to school on the GI Bill and worked at General Motors in Buffalo, NY, before he landed a job at IBM Endicott where he would retire after 33 years of service. His family always came first. He bought his father his first TV and Lawnmower. Ed has seen amazing changes in his lifetime. He enjoyed bowling and golfing, but his heart and soul were out at Hemlock Lodge, hunting with his childhood friends Nicker, Johnny, Jacky, Uncle Dom Celi and too many more to mention. Ed had a very full, fruitful life and a heart filled with love and strength for his family and friends near and far. The world has lost a one in a million man but heaven has gained another Saint. Ace will be truly missed by his family and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday January 24, 2022, at 12:00 PM at St. Joseph’s Church 207 Hayes Ave. Endicott, NY.Burial will Be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Mildred, PA. The Family will receive friends at St. Joseph’s Church Monday from 11:00 AM until time of Mass at 12:00 PM.
